Empowering Education through Innovative Web to Print Solutions.
In partnership with us, Success for All (SFA), we implemented a tailored web to print portal, revolutionising the way educational materials are produced and distributed. In this case study, we will explore how SFA and Eight Days collaborated to streamline the print process, save time, and enhance efficiency for over 120 schools.
Who is Success for All?
Success for All’s primary objective is to assist schools and educators in enabling children to reach their full potential, starting from early childhood education all the way through post-16 education. Accomplished by offering schools worldwide access to expert data and literacy tools, which aid in enhancing student outcomes.
What did we do?
With multiple programs and varying material requirements, the management of individual print orders became time-consuming for SFA. To address this, Eight Days proposed an online web-to-print portal that would streamline the ordering process and provide customised access to over 500 educational products. This innovative solution allowed schools to order directly from the printer, eliminating additional administrative tasks and simplifying order placements.
Client Testimonial
“The collaboration with Eight Days has been invaluable.
Georgina Moore, a representative from Success for All
The secure and user-restricted web portal developed by Eight Days ensured that schools could only access products they were registered for, protecting SFA’s intellectual property.
The portal allowed for easy monitoring of school orders and enabled SFA to place initial orders on behalf of new schools. This improved day-to-day order management and freed up time and resources, allowing SFA to focus more on working closely with schools to help children reach their full potential.”
Results of the Web to Print Portal
The implementation of the web-to-print portal brought several benefits to Success for All:
- Time-saving
The streamlined process and print-on-demand capabilities saved SFA valuable time, enhancing overall efficiency. - Print on demand
Schools could order materials as needed, reducing unnecessary stockpiling and waste. - Onboarding materials
The portal facilitated the onboarding process for new schools, ensuring a smooth transition and access to relevant resources. - Multi-level access
The web-to-print portal provided different levels of access to schools, giving them personalised options based on their specific needs.
Largely, SFA’s digital print was print on demand to eliminate additional waste, particularly if there was an amendment to the curriculum or artwork copy. There was an agreed set maximum level of stock, which ensured tight timescales and turnarounds could be met, especially for large or last-minute orders.
Their print requirements were varied and included a mix of black and white, full colour, different substrates, and finishes from lamination to folded and stitched. We worked out a print specification per item, ensuring we achieved their goals on an item-by-item basis.
