How did we approach this Direct Mail marketing campaign?
We assigned a dedicated account manager who brought in a variety of Eight Group specialists at key points to improve the mailing from data, design & creation, and postage through to print and production.
Analysing Eastons’ existing customer data after a free data health check gave insights into the quality and health of the data. From this starting point, we removed duplicates, and incorrect/incomplete addresses, amended errors/abbreviations, remove deceased & gone away records and completed missing data where possible.
Eight Group then suggested segmenting the data into 3 segments: (i) UK & Continental Holiday Brochure only, (ii) Day Excursion Brochure only, (iii) Both Brochures.
As a more considered data-driven approach could deliver significant savings, and ROI whilst still driving sales.
Reviewing previous mailings we altered the mailing pack so it would benefit from both machinability and responsible/sustainable bulk mail discounts.
